PRI mayor's brother murders PRD councilman in Nuevo León

The dead body of Tomás Betancourt Gaytán was found with a clean PRI t-shirt on it.

Betancourt was a councilor in the Nuevo León town of Benito Juárez. He was coordinator of AMLO's MORENA electoral movement in the city, and right before the elections received a visit by four men who beat him up and kidnapped him. He was found dead two days later, two bullets in his head and two in his chest - but with a squeaky clean PRI shirt on him.

The man signaled as behind the murder is Mauro García Garza, a former police and brother of Luis Alfredo García Garza, who is currently the PRI mayor of Benito Juárez. He is now a fugitive.

Nuevo León ex governor who claimed PRI pacted with narcos questioned

Sócrates Rizzo García was governor of Nuevo León 1991-1996, for the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI). It therefore sent quite a few shock waves through the political spectrum when he last February made some comments that strongly suggested that the even national had been making pacts with the drug gangs in the 1990s. The PRI-controlled presidency,
“tenía resuelto el problema del tránsito” de (droga), pues de algún manera se les decía (a traficantes) ‘tu pasas por aquí… pero no me toques estos lugares’”.
Rizzo was now - 8 months later, mind you - questioned by the PGR or the federal attorney general's office regarding these claims. Yet what did he state now? "I was not aware of any" narco pacts.

I know nothing! (couldn't help this one)

Family International, Christian pedophile sect, hiding in Nuevo León. Will authorities act?

La Jornada has a story in today's newspaper that is almost to the point of defying belief, had one not been so hardened, for lack of better word, by previous pedophile scandals predominantly in the catholic church:

Santiago, Nuevo León, is the sanctuary of Sara Kelley, real name Prisca Kelley, the author of what goes under the name of the "bible of pedophilia," a 762-page manual for pederasts. Kelley, a U.S. citizen, is a founder of "Children of God," known today as "Family International," a religious sect that apparently combines its version of christianity with the advocacy of pedophilia. Neighbors in Santiago are now warning that this sect is not only harboring Kelley, wanted for pederasty in several countries, but is continuing is "preaching" in the area, trying to ensnare more children for abuse.

The obvious question: Why aren't Nuevo León authorities immediately arresting Kelley and the perverted psychopaths of the "Children of God?  The La Jornada article is not for the faint of heart; one can only hope it will draw more attention to this deranged cult and warn those in the area.
