Love or hate him, or maybe somewhere just right in between, Krauze is one intellectual force to be reckoned with. The article, by Jorge Volpi, does an excellent job in explaining why.
Thanks for the link -- very interesting review, and a useful perspective on some aspects of Latin American (and especially Mexican) intellectual history (or history of intellectuals...) for a relative neophyte (me).
